What is a transition?
A transition is a visual effect that appears when your movie plays from one video clip or picture to the next. It gradually fades(or wipes)while moving from one clip to another.
How are transitions represented on the timeline?
On the timeline, transitions are represented by blue rounded rectangles.
How to apply transitions?
To apply transitions, click on the Transitions tab, click on the desired transition from the available transitions, drag it on the timeline and position it on top of the clip, and click the Play button to view it.
How can you change the duration of a transition?
To change the duration of a transition, click and drag the side of the blue Transition box.
In which directions can you change a transition?
You can change the direction of transition effects either from left to right or right to left.
What is the default direction of a transition?
By default, the direction of a transition effect is left to right.
How can you change the direction of a transition effect?
To change the direction of a transition effect, right-click on the blue Transition effect box and click on Reverse Transition from the context menu to see the effect in reverse order.
Why would you want to remove a transition effect and how can you do so?
After applying a transition, you might dislike it and decide to remove it, and to do so right-click on the blue Transition effect box and click on Remove Transition from the context menu to remove it.
