A

You can fake it through editing.

Remove all the problems, re-takes, mistakes and come off as super coherent and amazing.

  • you watch someone on youtube think they can talk forever, flow of ideas so good, so coherent
  • you don’t notice or see their actual raw footage, see how many mistakes they actually made
  • how many things they cut out, how many takes they did, how many times they re-recorded
  • editing is magic, you can remove all those problems, put them together one after the other in a timeline, and all of a sudden it looks amazing
  • in reality never did a one take of something super coherent, amazing
  • if you watched the actual footage, you’d think not good on camera, the power of editing (can select best take, best sentence, etc)

Ex. THIS IS SO TRUE | Natural Jackson
- he is fed one line at a time, repeats it, etc
- he makes mistakes, re-records things
- in editing, they edit it all out so it looks like a coherent peice
