HIPAA main purpose and what does it stand for?
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act:
To protect health care coverage for individuals who lose or change their jobs. Also the privacy of patients health care & information
What is HIPAA Privacy Rule?
The privacy rule main purpose is to define and limit situations in which a patient’s information can be used or disclosed. Gives patients rights and respect to the information
