  • ADV= Ideal for discrete skills, good at autonomous phase, good for simple or short duration skills
  • DISADV= Can be exhausting/boring, could cause mental fatigue, errors could increase due to repetitiveness

  • ADV= Ideal for high energy continuous skills, good for complex and dangerous skills, time for rest, mental rehearsal, reinforcement and feedback
  • DISADV= Rest intervals may disjoint the pracrice, causing learning to be hindered, Long/frequent breaks can be demotivating, can be hard to regain intensity
