what does an indictable offence mean
A more severe offence that is heard and sentenced by a judge in supreme court or tried before a judge and jury
what does a summary offence mean
Less severe offence that is heard sentenced by a magistrate in local court. Examples are bond or fine, or jail for up to 2 years
