Explain the relationship between introspection structuralism and functionalism
Introspection is how we react to things
Structuralism is the emotion
Functionalism examines how consciousness and cognitive abilities function in our everyday life
Explain the difference between nature and nurture
Nature is what you’re born with and what you inherent while nurture is behavior that is learned through culture and social interactions
according to Freude what is repressed in the unconscious mind
People put the bad things fears and thoughts in the back of our in conscious mind
Explain the relationship between stimulus and response reinforcement and punishment and reward
Stimulus and response is when something repetitively set off and in action is being done and repeated punishment and reward is being reprimanded for something reinforcement is the encouragement and the reward is what is given to the action being done
Explain the difference between the cognitive and humanistic approach
Cognitive approach is our schema our way of thinking and our thought processes that humanistic approach is hierarchy of needs self actualization and wanting to be the best person we can be
Explain the relationship between the ideas of self actualization self ideal self and unconditional concept positive regard
Self actualization is trying to become the best you you can be and trying to better yourself you need to have a self-concept and identify who you are seeing who you want to be your ideal self then you need to except other peoples and your own self positive regard
