What does the metallic bonding model propose
A
-Most metals have valence electrons and therefore are quite reactive as they are readily able to donate their valence electrons
-They never share
-Metal cations are in a fixed position in a lattice
-There is a sea of delocalised valence electrons
-They are able to move throughout the lattice
-There are metallic bonds that are non-directional
-Occurs between cation and delocalised valence electrons
