What are National Governing Bodies?

A
  • They are organisations, they have the soul responsibility for one sport only.
  • Every sport has a different NGB in each country
  • NGB’s are responsible for grass root level sports as well as elite level sports.
  • Examples = Swim England for swimming, the FA for football, and UK Athletics for athletics.
