What are Human Resources?
Either the workers employed by the business or the Department who manages the workers
What is a HR plan?
A plan that details the workers a business needs including the number of workers, full or part time and the skills they should have.
What will a HR plan include?
-Number of staff
-Job roles
-Skills required
-Type of employment (Full or part time, Temporary or permanent, Zero-hour contract)
-Wages
-Training
-Start dates or when are they needed
What are some changes a business needs to think about when looking at their HR needs
-Workers may need to be replaced (retire, promoted)
-Business may grow or shrink
-May change the method of production
-Relocating
-Change in budget
-Changes in law that could affect employment
What are the steps to make a HR plan
Identify, plan the HR needs, write and detail all the information into a plan.
