  1. Vasodilation - Increased blood flow - warmth.
  2. Leakage of Plasma Proteins - Edema (Swelling)
  3. Leukocyte recruitment - called into action.

Mast cell degranulation - Release histamine.
Activation of plasma systems - clotting
Release of nearby cellular products.

Healing by primary intention

A

24 hours - Coagulation (Platelets, Neutrophils)
3-14 days - Proliferation (Regrow cells, mitosis)
Weeks/Months - Fine tune and clean (Epithelial cells, scar formation.)
