However the Olympic park raised property prices, caused lots of pollution and the re-location of some residents living in the area

-Freiburg has its integrated transport system with the introduction of trams. They are cheap easily accessible and reduces traffic congestion which cause global warming

- Freiburg has 400km of eco-friendly cycle paths to reduce the use of cars
