Answer 1

Immediately (verbally) to an on-duty supervisor
not involved in the incident, as soon as reasonably possible, but NLT, the end of a membership shift. This reporting shall be document in the DAJ.

How much time do I have after my initial VERBAL report to a supervisor absent extenuating documented circumstances do I have to submit a WRITTEN report describing an excessive USE OF FORCE incident?

24 hours of the initial report must submit a detailed written report, describing the incident consistent with uniform reporting protocols.

Question 3

As a supervisor, how much time do I have to submit a written report to the Troop/Section commander about a use of force excessive force incident?
