Couple of good info sites:
- Lawn care simplified.
Seed the lawn lightly. Too much seed competes! Work in new seed 1/4 inch under the soil with a rake.
Only plant new seed between 65-85 degrees, Fall and Spring.
Water for 3-4 weeks until germinates.
When you put out new seed, stomp to compress the soil.
