- GTCS
- Partial seizure
-Trigeminal and other neuralgia
- status epilepticus - i.v. in normal saline( fosphenytoin more prefered - less irritant effect on veins)

Eclamptic convulsion
Febrile convulsions
Drugs induced convulsion

Not use in epilepsy due to development of tolerance to anticonvulsion effect

Clonazepam use in absence and myoclonic seizure

Lorazepam over diazepam
Long duration
Less damaging on injected vein
