What is the critical incident stress management program

A

CISM provides timely professional assistance after major incident to minimize stress related injury illness

A

Identify at scene incidents that may warrant CISM
request CISM intervention through dispatch
develop a plan of intervention in consultation with the on call CISM team leader
locate an appropriate facility to hold intervention that is away from the incident
