What is a Gerund?

A verb form which functions as a noun, in English ending in -ing. Are used as nouns - we are talking about an activity in general rather than an ongoing action.

Are a verb + ‘-ing’
Describe an ongoing action at the time of speaking
Past Participle
the form of a verb, typically ending in -ed in English, which is used in forming perfect and passive tenses and sometimes as an adjective.
Verb - used in the perfect form, passive voice & Third Conditional.
broken – This computer is broken. It doesn’t work. (Adjective)
What are Infinitives?
the form of averb but not always used as a verb. Can be either a noun, adjective or adverb. They always follow the “to + verb”.
