It can spread to others through coughing and sneezing.

- How can pathogens spread?
Pathogens spread either through the air, (e.g sneezing) or physical contact (e.g. you touch someone who may have a nasty virus and that virus is then passed on to you) or through water.
How can pathogens enter your
body?
Pathogens can get into your body through cuts/wounds that arent covered, mouth, nose,genitals etc.
And as well from contaminated water.
How does your body try and prevent pathogens
getting in?
Oils on the skin
Clotting of wounds
Your body heals cuts and wounds which prevent pathogens from getting in.
Three ways that white blood cells can help protect you against disease if pathogens get past the first line of defence?
-Ingest pathogens and destroy them. produce antibodies to destroy pathogens. produce antitoxins that neutralise the toxins released by pathogens.
