Sensitive to light, found in the retina, make up peripheral vision
What are cones and where are they found?
Sensitive to colour and detail, found in the fovea

Fixation

What are ciliary muscles?
Controls the focus between near and far
What are the sphincter and dilator? Where are they found?
Open and close the pupil to allow more or less light in

What is pursuit tracking?
Following an object through space
What are fixations and saccadic eye movements?
Quick jumps of the eyes from one point to another
What is quiet eye (QE)?
The final fixation or tracking gaze at a task relevant location prior to the initiation of the final phase of the movement
What is static acuity (SVA)?
The ability to pick out detail in a stationary object. Usually tested through snellen eye chart

The measure of visual acuity, factoring in time and motion. Can be trained
