Wet AMD, Dry AMD, dry affects 90% cases.

Blurred region in middle (scotoma).

Open angle vs Close angle, Open angle more common

Damage to optic nerve and peripheral vision. Dark border, bright middle

Excessive pressure in eye due to poor drainage of aqueous humor.

Contractile cells in retinal capillaries swell, rupture, dilate, forming microaneurysms

Small dark spots covering over certain part where hemorrhaging occurs
