- Required to make visual purple, which assists good vision.
- Antioxidant vitamin that helps to prevent cancer and heart disease.

Animal: - milk -cheese Plant: -Green vegetables -Orange and red fruit and vegetables.
Having a low vitamin A intake is bad because?
- Can lead to poor vision
- Dietary disease risk is increased.
Having a high vitamin A intake is bad because?
- It can be poisons to the body. (especially during pregnancy)
What are the functions of vitamin D?
- Must be present in the intestine so that calcium can be absorbed
- Acts with calcium and phosphorus to form strong bones n teeth.

- Oily fish
- Egg yolk.
Having a low vitamin D intake is bad because?
- Poor calcium absorption which may lead to osteoperosis.
What is the function of vitamin E?
- Antioxidant vitamin that prevents certain cancers and heart disease.
- Good for your muscles

- Vegetable oil
- Egg yolk.
What are the functions of vitamin B?
- Essential for the release of energy from protein and carbohydrates.
- Essential for normal growth.

- Green vegetables

- The vitamin will not release enough energy, this will leave the person feeling tired and lethargic.
