Clinical features of Waldenstroms

A
  • systemic upset: weight loss, lethargy
  • hyperviscosity syndrome e.g. visual disturbance
  • hepatosplenomegaly
  • lymphadenopathy
  • cryoglobulinaemia e.g. Raynaud’s

  • look for monoclonal IgM paraproteinaemia

    = lymphoplasmacytoid lymphoma cells
