Filtration
A
blood pressure forces water, ion, small molecules, and waste products from the blood in the glomerulus into the bowman’s capsule. Larger molecules like blood cells remain in the blood because they are too large to pass through the filtration membrane.

A
essential substances like glucose, amino acids, minerals molecules move from the tubule back into the capillary network and are reabsorbed back into the bloodstream via diffusion

Materials, like urea, that are not reabsorbed travel to the collecting duct and then to the bladder for secretion
