Why do we use different techniques before and after sports events?

A

• Pre-event should be short and energetic, stimulates the nerves, temporarily constricts blood vessel which has the opposite effect following the massage
Post-event encourages a faster recovery, assist with healing, relaxation, circulation and lymphatic drainage
