A

Plug in a few of your keywords into Google. If the results show a map pack then that shows Google has assessed local intent to that search.

Q

Local SEO isn’t only focused on the map pack. Where else does the local algorithm serve search results?

A

If you click “view all” at the bottom of the map pack, you’ll be taken to the Local Finder page which goes beyond the top 3 search results.

Results in Google Maps are also powered by the local algorithm.

Organic results below the map pack are also localized and powered by the local algorithm.
