1 - rhyme scheme expressed by the poet is regular - indicating that either that the pain he feels is too ongoing and regular or, life continues regardless, and it still continues regularly despite times of hardships

1 - accentual-syllabic, two syllables emphasised per line, the last syllable in the fifth line breaks the regular accentual rythm - lands on the adjective “cold”, places emphasis on the word and the feelings it connotes to - semantic field of coldness “pale grew thy cheek and cold” - lack of emotions
