A

One main feature is that the STM is an active store that enables us to manipulate pieces of information. This gives the name for the working memory model. The second main feature is there are multiple components to working memory. They all store different types of memories and are separately impaired

The longer the words in a list the fewer words we can retain. This means we can remember more words in a list of short words than a list of long words.
