  2. transect distal 1/3 of scrotum with blade
  3. strip fat and fascia
  4. place circumferential ligature (1-0 vicryl)
  5. place emasculator and crush/cut

  4. grasp tail with towel clamp
  5. ID vas deferens
  6. dissect ductus deferens and epididymis away from testes **DO NOT incise teste
  7. place circumfrential ligature around ductus deferens and tail (separately)
  8. clamp +transect distal to ligature
