Q

Give 3 reasons why bioethanol is a good fuel

A
  • It can be obtained from a renewable resource
  • It does not contain sulphur which produces polluting gases (SO2, SO3)
  • Alcohols have high enthalpies of combustion so release more energy per gram than conventional fuels
