Perception, attention, communication, social cognition, action cognition, memory and spatial cognition.

Localisation of function, plasticity, work division, connectivity, signal progression and micro level neuronal behaviour.

How are primates similar to humans with language?
A
Their vocal cords have not adapted enough in order to communicate to the extent we do therefore they use sign and visual language.

What are the pros of using visual language as a primate?
A
They have a fixed relationship between the sign and the meaning, they are discrete.
