Q

Looking at cause and consequence discuss “chain of freindship and how it led to ww1

A

The chain of freindship was the alliances formed before ww1. Such as the Triple entente France, Britain, Russia and the Triple Alliance: Germany, Italy, Austria Hungary.. The Chain represented how different countries had each others backs. Meaning, if one went to war, the others would help them. These alliances leaded to WW1 because a dispute between Austria-Hungary and serbia ended up dragging all the other countries in because they had to fulfill their promise.

Q

Why were the Canadians called shock troops, how did the allies use the canadians to defeat germans

A

They were called shock troops because they were better trained and took Germany by suprise
-The allies sent Canadians out to one place, where they were seen by the Germans who were warned an attack was coming while the germans were preparing, the allies sent another group of Canadians solidres somewher else to attack the unsuspecting German soldiers and defeat them.

-We were also called shock troops because we were very unique from other types of troopers, we were tough and not willing to back off, and simply hold our ground when times were rough
