A

suggests that people are born with their personality- determined genetically
characteristics of behav are shown in all situations, it is stable and enduring, it doesn’t change
personality and behav can be easily predicted
eg person who is calm and controlled (introvert) will not lash out if they are being fouled in a game
-ignores the effects that environment may have

A

learned from experiences
changes according to the situation, so cannot be easily predicted
we observe and imitate behav from SO
if behav is rewarded/ successful then it increases the chance that it will be imitated
more likely to copy someone with similar characteristics- believe that the same response will happen
