BATTALION CHIEF INSPECTIONS

These inspections shall be conducted while the
premises are open to the public.

Note: Battalion Chiefs do not have to complete the IF-7 however they
could use the form or this reference as a guide. Battalion Chiefs should
record their inspection on an A-135.

The Administrative Battalion shall conduct annual inspections of all
Assembly occupancies with more than 500 occupants that
present live theatrical productions.

than 500 persons should be inspected by the Administrative Fire Unit prior to
the first performance of a new show.

Note: The first, pre-opening inspection of the calendar year will serve as
the annual BISP inspection for that year.
