Why did the British need to make taxes high ?
They were in debt because of the 7 years war

the british thought the system was an association of equals while the colonists though the system was unequal parts

the patriots terrorized them by doing acts such as tar and feathering them

they were taxed without their consent
what is the theory of virtual representation?
members of the parliament represented not only their district on britain but also the entire british empire

the boston massacre was not an actual massacre, it was started by the accidental fire of one of the soliders
