CRS/SM concurrence (unless an emergency), unless directed by procedure
What is the limit to get a Fuel Transfer Overload on the Fuel Transfer Machine?
800 lbs
What is the required response if startup channel counts increase during fuel insertion?
IF during insertion of a fuel assembly, the sustained count rate from either or both startup channel increases by a factor of five (5) from the last stable counts, excluding anticipated changes due to spatial effects, THEN perform the following:
1. Withdraw the fuel assembly immediately.
2. Discontinue CORE ALTERATIONS.
3. REFER TO Contingencies
Do “Core Alteration” requirements apply to the last Fuel Assembly removed or the first Fuel Assembly inserted?

What is the Refueling Boron Concentration minimum? (LCO 3.9.1)
3,000 ppm. If not met immediately stop core alts. Emergency borate at least 26 gpm from 4,000 ppm source.
What is the minimum keff during refueling (LCO 3.9.1)?
less than or equal to 0.95 keff during fuel handling
What are the communication requirements per TLCO 3.9.100 during Core Alterations?
Control Room and refueling station (CTMT and FB) during core alt. Verified within 1 hour prior to core alts then every 12. If lost immediately suspend core alts.
What is the minimum decay time required per TLCO 3.9.100 before moving irradiated fuel assemblies in the vessel?
Subcritical for greater than or equal to 100 hours
What is the weight limit of TLCO 3.9.103 Crane Travel - SFP Storage Building?
Loads greater than 2,000 pounds prohibited from travel over fuel assemblies.
What is the Overload Hoist Interlock on the Refueling Machine?
Fuel only region. Hoist will stop motion if weight indication is > 150 pounds more than the weight of the grapple, hoist box, and fuel (maximum setting for fuel only is 1600 lbs).
