Q

Describe the music used and why do you think the decision was made to use this at this point

A

-slow European melancholic piano = the thin texture and delicacy mirrors Larbi’s creeping around the stage trying to peer through, but is unable to see. It also creates contrast to the monks actions on top of the boxes allowing shouting and spears noises to be heard

Q

Describe the transition into the new formation

A

-Larbi leans backwards on the box furthest stage right, and the monk behind it slides it out the way. Larbi moves down the line to the centre, each time having the box taken away, which is mirrored by the boxes stage left as well. The monks begin to build the temple behind once they have moved their box
