A

Fir A if it’s fixed , try use more sensitive equipment like micrometer . (As we can’t change its distance typically)

2) for D increase max distance , more sensitive equipment

3) for X try measure the mist fringes you can, massively reduces the uncertainty

What’s the uncertainty in this equipment?

A

Use a glass screen with mm scaling, and use a magnifying glass to see exactly where it is

This gives uncertainty of normally 1mm, thus reading many massively reduces

What’s the biggest uncertiwnity thing in this experiment

A

Always x or a as 1 mm uncertiwnity and the distance is so small is used

A is normally good , can get better with higher sensitivity

Best is D, large distance with small uncertainty
