A
  1. Blood enters through the atria
  2. They contract and force blood into the ventricles
  3. The ventricles contract and force blood out of the heart
  4. Valves make sure the blood flows in the right direction
  5. The heart rate is controlled by a group of cells in the right atrium called the pacemakers
