This job is performed by any component that can transform electrical energy into another form

energy to mechanical energy) and light bulbs (electrical energy to radiant energy).

What is a fuse?

A

Container with a metal filament inside.
When current intensity is too high, the
filament melts, breaks and therefore prevents
an electric current from flowing through the
circuit.
Fuse must be replaced once filament breaks.

A switch with a bimetallic strip inside.
When current intensity is too high, the
bimetallic strip gets hot and bends, therefore
preventing an electric current from flowing
through the circuit.

current.
