Q

What is electrical charges?

A

Each proton carries a positive charge and each
electron carries a negative charge. Protons are held tightly in
an atom’s nucleus, but the electrons can be transferred from
one atom to another. Negatively charged bodies have a
surplus of electrons (more electrons than protons) and
positively charged bodies have an electron deficiency (less
electrons than protons).

Q

(est) What is coulombs law?

A

a law stating that like charges repel and opposite charges attract, with a force proportional to the product of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
