1
Q

Q
neuroma
A

- Painful when pressed but not visible
5
Q

type of limb amputation
- separating the limb through a joint instead of cutting through a bone
6
Q
To facilitate effective grasp & release, the easiest position to start with for a prosthesis in initial stages of training is
A
Elbow at 90 degrees flexion, shoulder at 0 degrees IR
7
Q
Pre-positioning of the prosthesis involves
A
- All prosthetic components must be pre-positioned in proximal to distal order
- place TD in optimal position to approach an object
EX: if approaching a glass, hand should face in towards midline (fingers should not be positioned downward)
