MOINA of Muscles Connecting the Upper Limb to the Vertebral Column Flashcards

1
Q

trapezius

A

origin: occipital bone, ligamentum nuchae, spine of seventh cervical vertebra and all thoracic vertebrae
insertion: upper fibers into lateral third of clavicle; middle and posterior fibers into acromion and spine

nerve: spinal part of accessory nerve (motor) and C3 and 4 (sensory)
