What does CN1 (olfactory) do?
Sense of smell
What does CN2 (optic) do?
Sense of sight
What does CN3 (oculomotor) do?
eye focus, pupil constriction, convergence
What does CN4 (trochlear) do?
eyes down and in
What does CN5 () do?
What does CN6 (abducens) do?
eyes outward (abduct)
What does CN7 (facial) do?
expressive facial motor, anterior tongue sensory
What does CN8 (vestibulocochlear) do?
cochlear is sense of hearing, vestibular is sense of balance
What does CN9 (glossopharyngeal) do?
Sensory posterior tongue, motor swallowing and salivation
What does CN10 (vagus) do?
Parasympathetic sensation and control, visceral sensory
What does CN11 (accessory) do?
motor control of neck
