1. NI - neurological impairment
2. Health and physical fitness

  1. respect
    - person LWD are valued members of society
    - recognize their age and experience to learn a lot
  2. Relaxed pace
    - creating a relaxed environment
    - providing care at an appropriate pace
  3. facilitation
    - assess the person’s ability and provide support that is needed (do not overdo, or else excess disability)
