What are the steps of Van Riper’s approach to intervention?

A

This is a motor based approach and most commonly used approach.
Auditory discrimination targets the child’s ability to distinguish between correct and incorrect production of pairs (minimal pairs).
Phonetic placement targets the child’s production of sound.
The child is given verbal instruction, physical guidance, visual feedback and modeling is done.
