Describe Bandura’s model of self efficacy

A

Performance accomplishments: reminded of previous success (past experiences)

Vicarious Experiences: watching another performer complete the same skill can raise confidence

Verbal Persuasion: positive extrinsic feedback or reinforcement

Emotional arousal: understanding signs of increased arousal

*all these factors increase self efficacy so therefore performance improves
