what does reparation do?
A
aims to ensure offenders ‘pay back’ and repatriate society by completing unpaid community work. often involved compensating victim of a crime by ordering the offender to pay a sum of money to the victim.

what is a restorative justice scheme?
A
restorative justice schemes are created for offenders and victims to meet. offenders can make direct reparation through writing letters of apology, repairing any damage caused and explaining the event/ reasons for the crime face to face.
