Why a long-term strategy for men?
-increased odds of attracting a mate

our ancestors had access to two types of observable evidence of a woman’s reproductive value:
-features of physical appearance (full lips, clear skin, smooth skin, etc )
- features of behavior (youthful gait, animated facial expressions, high energy)
