  • Relief plays a key role on urban forms as flat areas are more attractive as they are easier to build on
    -Rochinha, Brazil is Brazils biggest shanty town on a hillside which fully lacks buisiness investment
  • Avalibility of natural resources as areas which have a high avalibility are more likely to be industrial
