e.g Plants have Xylem tissue (transports water and mineral ions) and Phloem tissue (transports sucrose and amino acids)

An organ is a group of different tissues that work together to perform a function
e.g Lungs in mammals and Leaves in plants are two examples of organs - both made up of several different tissue types

What is an ORGAN SYSTEM?

Organ system is when the organs work together for a specific job. Each system has a different job.
e.g In mammals, the digestive system is made up of organs including the stomach, intestines, pancreas and liver
