What are your firm’s Social media guidelines?

A

Communication on social media must not:
- Bring my firm into disrepute e.g. making defamatory coments or argueing with collegues or competitiors.
- Breach confidentiality
- Breach copyright
- Bullying or harassment

  • Savills can share content on personal social media account, such as linkedin, as long as information is accurate and has already been made public by savills

What does ‘Without Prejudice’ mean and why is it used during negotiations?

A

Without prejudice means the contents of the negotiations or discussion cannot be relied upon in court. This gives more freedom for surveyors to put forward offers to assist in reaching dilapidations settlements.

What are the timeframes under the dilapidations protocal?

A
  • 56 days post termination of tenancy - Schedule to be served.
  • Tenant response within 56 days
    • Tenant and LL surveyor should meet within 28 days of tenant response

A
  • Look at previous weeks actions recorded in the minutes
  • Review upcoming points on the programme
  • Review correspondance from the week.

A

Comment on the landlord’s costs and my view on the cost for the particular breach if i think the breach is valid.

Supplementary information may be in the form of photos, test certification.
